When a self-help authpr arrives in Seattle to teach a sold-out seminar, he unexpectedly meets the one person who might finally be able to help him help himself. Eloise Chandler (Aniston) is focused on her own floral business. However when she meets Burke at the hotel where he's speaking, something is sparked. But will two people who have met the right person at exactly the wrong time be able to give love another chance? As each struggles with the hurt of love and loss, they realize that in order to move forward, they need to let go of the past. This is a tale about two young boys, fifteen-year-old Prosper and his six-year old brother Bo, who flee to Venice after being orphaned and seperated. Bo was to be put in the care of his cruel aunt and Prosper was to go to an orphanage. Hiding in the canals and alleyways of the city, the boys are befriended by a gang of young urchins and their enigmatic leader, the Thief Lord. From their home base of an old cinema theater, the children steal from the rich to support themselves and soon capture the interest of a bumbling detective. However, a greater threat to the children is something from a forgotten past - a beautiful magical treasure with the power to spin time itself....
I really enjoyed this movie although it is obvious that it is geared towards more of a younger audience. The tight relationship that these two brothers have is very heartwarming and it will make every child wish that they had the same relationship with their siblings. Even the relationships that develop between these orphaned children is very inspiring. This movie has scenes of mild action and tons of adventure to keep both children and adults interested. The Thief Lord is great movie for the whole family!
